I'm painting a batch of Miniature Figurines 10/12mm WW2 British infantry. Some of the figures are wearing berets. What color did the regular infantry wear (not paras, not commandos, not SAS)? I looked online and found one photo that showed a guy in a machine gun team wearing a khaki colored beret, same color as the uniform. Is this correct?
